We just want to say a massive thank you to all of you for RSVPing to our destination wedding! We know it was a quick turnaround, so we truly appreciate you getting your deposits in so quickly and being part of this incredible journey with us.

We’re absolutely thrilled that all 115 of you are joining us in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We know many of you are using your hard-earned vacation time to be there, and we want you to know—this trip is not just about our wedding day, it’s also your vacation. Whether you’re coming to party, relax, explore, or soak up the sun, we want you to enjoy this trip your way.

Punta Cana holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s where Jordan’s dad, Ramon, is from, and Jordan’s grandmother and cousins still live there. We can’t wait to tie the knot close to their hometown—it means the world to us to share that with you.

Traveling as a group of over 100 people is definitely going to be an experience, and we’re here to make it as fun and smooth as possible. Over the next few months, we’ll be sending out helpful updates, travel tips, and some fun surprises to get everyone excited. We hope you’re as excited as we are—it’s going to be amazing!

You should have received an email from our travel agent, Jenny, with your client statement. That includes your flight details and your remaining balance. Jenny will be reaching out again in the New Year with easy instructions on how to pay the remaining amount.

MEET & GREET - SAVE THE DATE

We’ll be hosting a Meet & Greet before the trip so we can all get to know each other, review travel documents, and kick things off in style.

NIGHT BEFORE TRAVEL - HOTEL OPTION

Our group flight departs at 10:55 AM, and the airline recommends arriving at the airport by 8:00 AM.

We’ll be blocking off rooms at a hotel near the Toronto airport that includes 8 days of parking and roundtrip shuttle service. Totally optional—but a great option if you want a stress-free start to the trip. More info coming soon.

DRESS CODE:

Resort Dress Code

Lopesan has a relaxed vibe during the day, but in the evenings, most restaurants ask for resort casual or smart attire. Swimwear and flip-flops aren’t allowed at dinner. Men should pack at least one pair of long pants and a collared shirt for à-la-carte restaurants. Women can wear dresses, skirts, or dressy pants. Nothing too formal—just no beachwear at dinner!

Heads Up for Shopping

Since we’re traveling in early May, keep in mind spring and summer clothes (and shoes!) can be tricky to find in stores around that time. Those perfect “vacation outfits” and cute sandals tend to hit the shelves a bit later—so if you’re planning to shop, now’s the time to grab what you need before everything sells out or gets picked over!

Wedding Dress Code

We may be getting married on the beach, but it’s still a wedding—dress to impress! We are asking for semi-formal attire. Think of what you’d wear to a summer wedding at home: cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or dress shirts with nice pants. Please save the flip-flops, shorts, and beachwear for the pool. We want everyone looking fabulous while still feeling comfy in the warm weather!ription
